Frech battles past Errani in over three hours in Stuttgart opener

Magdalena Frech came from 4-2 down in the third set, and 5-2 down in the deciding tiebreak, to defeat lucky loser Sara Errani in 3 hours and 12 minutes in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix first round.
