Pegula tops Wang Xinyu in Indian Wells; grabs seventh straight win
No. 4 seed Jessica Pegula increased her winning streak to seven consecutive victories with a 6-2, 6-1, 62-minute dismissal of Wang Xinyu in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday. Pegula won the Austin title two weeks ago to kick off this winning streak.
