Kessler defeats lucky loser Golubic in Austin opening round
No. 5 seed McCartney Kessler won the last first-round match of the 2025 ATX Open, defeating lucky loser Viktorija Golubic 6-2, 7-5 on Wednesday. Kessler will next play qualifier Cristina Bucsa on Thursday.
