Aussie teen Joint eases past Grabher into Merida second round

Maya Joint, the 18-year-old qualifier from Australia, stormed past Austria's Julia Grabher 6-3, 6-2 in the first round of the Merida Open Akron on Monday. Joint will face No. 5 seed Donna Vekic in the second round.
