2022 champion Alexandrova bests 2014 finalist Lepchenko in Seoul opener
The first round of the Korea Open saw No.7 seed and 2022 champion Ekaterina Alexandrova defeat qualifier and 2014 finalist Varvara Lepchenko in three sets. Alexandrova won the first set from 5-2 down, saving three set points along the way.
