Mai Hontama posted her first tour-level win since Indian Wells with a straight-sets defeat of Indonesian wild card Priska Nugroho in the first round of the Jasmin Open. 2020 Australian Open girls' doubles champion Nugroho, 21, was making her WTA main-draw debut.
