Pliskova saves set points in both sets to edge Tomova in Cincinnati
Karolina Pliskova, the 2016 Cincinnati Open champion, kicked off her 2024 campaign by coming from 5-3 down in both sets to defeat Viktoriya Tomova in two tiebreaks. Pliskova saved one set point in the first set and four in the second.
