Selekhmeteva defeats Palicova in Prague, posts first WTA win since 2022
Qualifier and 2022 quarterfinalist Oksana Selekhmeteva came from a break down in the first set to defeat wild card Barbora Palicova in the first round of the Livesport Prague Open. The result was Selekhmeteva's first tour-level win since Chennai 2022; the 21-year-old missed the second half of 2023 due to a shoulder injury.
