Muchova advances past Sharma in two tiebreaks to Palermo semifinals
No.2 seed Karolina Muchova reached her first semifinal since the 2023 US Open after defeating Astra Sharma in two tiebreaks at the Palermo Ladies Open. Muchova came from 3-0 down in the first set and saved four set points trailing 6-5 in the second.
