Shnaider holds off Badosa in Bad Homburg to make first grass semifinal
Diana Shnaider led wild card Paula Badosa 4-1 in the second set of their Bad Homburg Open quarterfinal, but ultimately needed a tiebreak to advance to the first grass-court semifinal of her career. The result was Shnaider's second win -- and first in a completed match -- in five encounters with Badosa.
