No.2 seed and homeland hope Caroline Garcia pulled off a 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 victory over Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the first round of the Open Capfinances Rouen Métropole. Garcia was down a break at 5-3 in the final set, but won the next four games to prevail.
