Jasmine Paolini defeated No.11 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia in the first round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, coming from a set and 4-2 down to win the last 10 games in a row. Paolini is now 3-0 against Haddad Maia, winning all three matches from a set down.
