Qualifier Clara Tauson defeated Camila Giorgi in the first round of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz in three sets -- the second straight year she had beaten the 2018 champion from a set down. In the 2023 second round, Tauson had won 1-6, 6-3, 6-4; she now has a 3-0 overall record against Giorgi.
