Savinykh upsets Gracheva in Ningbo for first Top 50 win since 2013
Qualifier Valeria Savinykh, 32, upset No.5 seed Varvara Gracheva in the first round of the Ningbo Open, coming from 5-2 down and saving five set points in the first set. The result was Savinykh's first Top 50 win since defeating Dominika Cibulkova in the second round of the 2013 Australian Open.
