Jelena Ostapenko won her third match in eight meetings against No.8 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova in the first round of the Cymbiotika San Diego Open -- a 2-hour, 47-minute rollercoaster in which the Latvian won the first set from 4-2 down, lost the second from 4-0 up after holding one match point, and won the third from 5-2 down.
