Montreal: Pliskova recovers to quell Zhu in three sets
Karolina Pliskova, the 2021 Omnium Banque Nationale finalist, opened her 2023 campaign with a three-set win over Zhu Lin. Pliskova had to rebound from missing her first two match points in the second-set tiebreak and a subsequent rain delay at 8-8.
