Aliaksandra Sasnovich finished off an upset of Victoria Azarenka in the first round of the bett1open after their match was suspended overnight at 1-1 in the second set. The result was Sasnovich's second Top 20 win of 2023, both of which have come on grass, and her 21st overall.
