Wildcard Caty McNally was two points from defeat on eight occasions against Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the first round of the Western & Southern Open, but came from 5-3 down in the third set to triumph in a third-set tiebreak. The result was the Cincinnati native's first victory at her hometown tournament.
