- Began playing at age 7 when parents introduced her to the sport (didn't like her first lesson but grew to love it); decided she wanted to take it more seriously when she became the Under 12 No.1 in Slovakia

Career in Review
In 2024 made semifinals at Austin and Budapest as well as achieving her best Olympic result by reaching the bronze medal match in Paris (l. Swiatek) and also claimed a WTA 125 title at Parma.
In 2023, reached R16 at Roland Garros (l. Gauff); also reached the final of the WTA 125 Parma (l. Bogdan)
Best result in 2022 was QF at Guadalajara in February (l. Q.Wang). Also reached 2r five times, including at Roland-Garros (l. Kovinic), Wimbledon (l. Frech) and US Open (l. Zhang)
During second half of 2021, reached QF at Cluj-Napoca (l. Krunic) and Tenerife (l. Cornet) and won WTA 125K Series title at Belgrade to return to Top 100
