Being the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open is traditionally the place where new season's trends see the light of the day.

Blue is always the perfect choice for the Australian Open and last year’s champion Caroline Wozniacki made the best of it by sporting an ocean-inspired ombre effect in her top-performance adidas Spring Parley Tank Top and adidas Spring Parley Skirt, which include yarn made from plastic bottles.

The Dane also made sure to paint her nails bright blue in order to match her eco-friendly outfit.

Serena Williams enjoys breaking down her opponents on court -- and breaking through the boundaries of women’s tennis fashion. After becoming a mother, the American is only getting more fearless.

Following the catsuit at Roland Garros and Virgil Abloh’s tutu dress at the US Open, the tennis queen decided to remove the skirt from her lucid green Nike Spring Player Dress and turn it into a playsuit.

Cutouts on the back have been a staple in the WTA fashion in recent years, but Serena introduced a new style, a triangular one surrounded by black and white stripes.

Danielle Collins looks stunning during her successful debut in the main draw of the Australian Open, wearing the New Balance Spring Tournament Sleeveless Tank and Spring Tournament Court Skirt.

All Venus’ collections revolve around busy patterns, but this time we’re having a tropical print included in a specific way -- as a panel at chest and waist on a white background. To round out the perfect look, Venus also wore a matching printed visor and a pink arm sleeve.
