MATCH POINTS
Anastasia Potapova won the only previous meeting with Anastasija Sevastova, winning over three sets on the clay of Prague earlier this year.
Potapova has dropped one more set than Sevastova en route to today's meeting, the Russian taken the distance in both the second round and quarterfinal whereas Sevastova has only been extended by Dalila Jakupovic in round two.
Potapova [6] and Sevastova [1] are the only seeds remaining in the competition.
Katarzyna Kawa seeks to avenge defeat in her only previous encounter with Bernarda Pera, which the American won in straight sets in Solin seven years ago.
Pera leads Kawa 2-1 in three-setters here also. The American was taken to three sets in the second round and the quarterfinal while Kawa was only troubled by Ysaline Bonaventure in the opening match. Kawa, however, was taken to three sets as well by Anna Danilina in qualifying.
Potapova against Kawa would be the only final meeting with any previous record, the Russian having beaten the Pole in straight sets in Sharm El Sheikh last year.
