NEW YORK, NY, USA - Olympic gold medallist Monica Puig has announced the addition of Belgian coach Philippe Dehaes to her team.
The Puerto Rican, who split from former coach Kamau Murray before the US Open, posted on social media: "Beyond excited to welcome Philippe Dehaes to the team! I am so thrilled to begin this journey together! Let’s do this!"

In February, Dehaes and former World No.10 Daria Kasatkina ended their two-year partnership. World No.59 Puig will be hopeing for a turnaround to a season that has garnered her just one semifinal showing in Charleston and one other quarterfinal in Strasbourg.
