LIMOGES, France - Eighth seed Ekaterina Alexandrova secured her place in the final of the Engie Open de Limoges with a straight-sets win over Vera Zvonareva, 6-4, 7-5.
In the first of two all-Russian semifinals, Alexandrova served up a quintet of aces and won 62% of the points on her first serve to wrap up a sound win.

She will play Evgeniya Rodina in the final, after her opponent Margarita Gasparyan withdrew from the second semifinal while trailing 3-0.
