MELBOURNE, Australia - The 2019 Australian Open main draw entry list was finalized on Tuesday, with last year's WTA Year-End World No.1 Simona Halep leading the pack.

Last year’s finalist, Halep looks set to take her spot as the No.1 seed for the fifth Grand Slam in a row, while champion Caroline Wozniacki sits at No.3, just behind 2016 champion Angelique Kerber. Halep claimed her maiden Grand Slam at Roland Garros after featuring in three major finals.

For Wozniacki, it’ll be the first Grand Slam as defending champion - and the first since revealing her diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis after her WTA Finals run came to an end. The Dane told reporters she was diagnosed shortly before the US Open, after struggling with fatigue and joint pain during the season.

Every player from the WTA’s Top 100 features on the entry list, save for the retired Agnieszka Radwanska. The Pole held the No.74th spot before she hung up her racquets during the off-season.

Three players have used a Special Ranking: Timea Bacsinszky (23), Laura Siegemund (32) and Bethanie Mattek-Sands (90).
