With two weeks to go until the WTA Elite Trophy in Zhuhai, the field of 12 continues to take shape.

Following last week's announcement that Peng Shuai, China's No.1, has received a wildcard in the year-end event, the field of 12 at the WTA Elite Trophy is totally occupied for the first time this year.

Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is the lone mover on the leaderboard this week, after winning her third title of the season in Hong Kong.

The 26-year-old advanced her standing by two spots, leaping over Anastasija Sevastova and US Open runner-up Madison Keys.

In addition, Upper Austria Ladies' Linz champion Barbora Strycova moved herself into the top alternate position with a run to her second career WTA title last week.

Here's how the Shine in Zhuhai leaderboard stacks up as of October 16:

Twelve of the best players on the WTA will have the chance to compete for an increased purse of $2.28 million over the week of Oct. 31 - Nov. 5 at the WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai.

The 12 qualifying singles players and one wildcard will join six doubles teams to compete in a round robin format, with the top four singles players advancing to the semifinals.
