Tributes have been pouring in for Martina Hingis from her WTA peers, after the Swiss legend announced her retirement during the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.
Hingis was honored in a retirement cerermony on Sunday in Singapore, in which WTA President Micky Lawler delivered a speech, and WTA CEO Steve Simon presented Hingis with a commemorative plaque celebrating her career.

Current and former WTA players wished Hingis well on social media, with messages coming from former doubles partners Sania Mirza and CoCo Vandeweghe, to USTA CEO Katrina Adams and Judy Murray among others.
