Canada's Rebecca Marino stunned No.4 seed Lulu Sun 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the first round of the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday. Sun was playing her first match on home soil since being named 2024 WTA Newcomer of the Year.
