INDIAN WELLS, CA, USA - Unseeded Jennifer Brady set up a semifinal clash with Kazakhstan's Zarina Diyas when she beat compatriot Nicole Gibbs 7-5, 6-0.
She had already beaten two other Americans in the rounds prior, knocking out second seed Alison Riske 6-3, 7-6(4), and 12th seed Madison Brengle 6-3, 6-1.Now she faces 11th seed Diyas, who has also not dropped a set so far this week.

Brady bests Gibbs 7-5, 6-0 and secures the first semifinal spot in the Oracle Challenger Series Indian Wells.

In the other semifinal, top seed and wildcard Wang Qiang of China takes on Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic.
Wang beat eighth seed Kristyna Pliskova 6-4, 6-4 in their quarterfinal, while the Swiss defeated Spain's Sara Sorribes Tormo, 6-0, 7-5.
