Polish teenager Iga Swiatek took the next step in her fledging professional career at the French Open, and earned your votes at the June Breakthrough of the Month.

Swiatek became the second player born in the 2000s to reach the second week of a Grand Slam, following Anisimova's efforts this year, with a run to the round of 16 at the French Open.

She beat wildcard Sandra Janicijevic, No.15 seed Wang Qiang (6-3, 6-0) and Olympic champion Monica Puig (0-6, 6-3, 6-3) before losing to defending champion Simona Halep.
