Personal:
Married with a daughter and son. Hobbies include golf, fishing and basketball. Received his coaching certification from the Tennis Association of Slovenia, was a junior national coach for three years. Supports Gibaj Slovenija, a charity initiative that supports socially disadvantaged children who cannot afford the professional training process. Awarded Best Tennis Coach in Slovenia from 2016 to 2019. Hobbies are golf, triathlon, and beach volleyball. Current sponsors include Loparji.si, Tecnifibre Slovenia and Uvex Slovenia. Speaks 5 languages: English, Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian and Dutch. Fun fact is he wrote a book about tennis strings.
