Vondrousova bests Putintseva, makes first quarterfinal of comeback
Wild card Marketa Vondrousova made the first quarterfinal of her comeback from shoulder surgery, and first since Roland Garros last year, with a straight-sets defeat of No. 4 seed Yulia Putintseva at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open.
