Ukraine's Anhelina Kalinina narrowly defeated Aussie hope Kimberly Birrell 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 in their quarterfinal clash at the Brisbane International presented by Evie on Friday. Kalinina saved one match point down 5-4 in the third set.
