Kasatkina saves two match points to edge Putintseva in Ningbo quarterfinals
No.5 seed Daria Kasatkina came from 4-1 down in the first set and 4-2 down in the third, then saved two match points in the deciding tiebreak, to defeat Yulia Putintseva in the Ningbo Open quarterfinals. Kasatkina improved to 2-1 overall against Putintseva and advanced to her sixth semifinal of 2024.
