Qualifier Ito continues dream run in Osaka, overcomes Lys to make semis
Playing her first WTA main draw, qualifier Aoi Ito defeated lucky loser Eva Lys at the Kinoshita Group Japan Open to reach the semifinals on home soil. Ito recovered after losing the first set from one set point up.
