Qualifier Bogdan sweeps past Kudermetova in Osaka first round
Ana Bogdan eased into the second round of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open on Tuesday, defeating Veronika Kudermetova 6-2, 6-2 in 1 hour and 17 minutes. Qualifier Bogdan will meet No.4 seed Marie Bouzkova in the second round.
