Svitolina eases past Avanesyan in Monterrey second round
No.5 seed Elina Svitolina booked a spot in the Abierto GNP Seguros quarterfinals with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Elina Avanesyan on Wednesday. Svitolina will take on No.6 seed Linda Noskova for a spot in the semifinals.
