Kostyuk fends off Sun to make Cincinnati Round of 16
No.15 seed Marta Kostyuk became the first player to reach the Round of 16 at the 2024 Cincinnati Open with a 6-3, 7-5 win over qualifier Lulu Sun on Wednesday. Kostyuk saved three set points at 5-4 in the second set before earning the straight-sets victory.
