Muchova holds off Noha Akugue in Palermo second round
No.2 seed Karolina Muchova notched a 6-7(0), 6-2, 6-3 victory over qualifier Noma Noha Akugue on Wednesday to reach the Palermo Ladies Open quarterfinals. Since her return from injury in June, Muchova has made the quarterfinals at two of the three events she has contested.
