Kudermetova pulls off comeback in Berlin to end Samsonova streak
Qualifier Veronika Kudermetova defeated 's-Hertogenbosch champion Liudmila Samsonova in three sets in the first round of the ecotrans Ladies Open. It was the third time in four years that the pair had met at this tournament; Kudermetova leads the head-to-head 2-1 in Berlin, and 4-2 overall.
