Frech defeats Stephens for first time in four meetings
Magdalena Frech started the week 0-3 against Sloane Stephens, but the qualifier got her first win over the 2017 US Open champion in the opening round of the Internationaux de Strasbourg. Frech defeated Stephens 6-3, 6-3 on Monday.
