Qualifier Carle cruises past Raducanu in Madrid first round
Argentine qualifier Maria Lourdes Carle dismissed 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu 6-2, 6-2 on Wednesday to reach the second round of the Mutua Madrid Open. World No.82 Carle converted six of seven break points in the match.
