Cirstea saves six match points vs. Vondrousova to make Dubai semis
Sorana Cirstea came from 6-2, 5-1 down to defeat No.7 seed Marketa Vondrousova in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships quarterfinals, saving six match points en route. The result was Cirstea's second Top 10 win of 2024, and the Romanian advanced to her third career WTA 1000 semifinal.
