Linette upsets Azarenka in three sets, notches fifth Top 20 win of 2023
Magda Linette came from a set down to defeat No.14 seed Victoria Azarenka in the first round of the China Open -- her 11th career Top 20 win and fifth of 2023. Linette has won two of her three 2023 meetings with Azarenka.
