Wang Xinyu edges Burel in nearly three hours
An all-qualifier first round at Tennis In The Land saw Wang Xinyu defeat Clara Burel in 2 hours and 57 minutes. The clash was a rematch of the 2018 Australian Open junior semifinals, won by Burel, but Wang has now won both of their pro encounters.
