Budapest: Stollar saves two match points, makes first quarterfinal since 2018
On home soil, No.441-ranked wild card Fanny Stollar saved two match points to upset No.5 seed Tatjana Maria in the second round of the Hungarian Grand Prix. Stollar advanced to her third career WTA quarterfinal, and first since Tashkent 2018. It was her first completed Top 100 win since beating Zhang Shuai at 's-Hertogenbosch 2018.
