Birmingham: Krejcikova opens campaign with win over Bucsa
No.1 seed Barbora Krejcikova defeated qualifier Cristina Bucsa in the first round of the Rothesay Classic to open her 2023 grass-court campaign. The result avenged a loss for Krejcikova to the Spaniard in their only previous meeting in 2021 Doha qualifying.
