Alizé Cornet dropped just five games against No.1 seed Maria Sakkari in the second round of the Rothesay Open to notch her 25th career Top 10 win, and first victory over Sakkari in four meetings. Cornet advanced to her first quarterfinal since reaching the Monastir 2022 final.
