BACKGROUND
Dr. Anita Sadaty has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for 24 years. She founded a women’s specialty practice in Roslyn, NY called Redefining Health Medical, to offer expanded integrative gynecology and Functional Medicine services. She is an IFM-certified Functional Medicine practitioner with a specialization in hormone health for women of all ages. She is excited to bring her knowledge and experience of women’s medicine to reach a wider audience who want to go beyond current treatment strategies for health and wellness concerns.
EDUCATION
Dr. Anita Sadaty attended medical school at Cornell University Medical College graduating with honors as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Society in 1994 and completed her residency and role as Chief Resident at North Shore University Hospital in 1998. She worked as a research associate at the Rockefeller University department of biochemistry studying the effect of sugar on aging and wound healing.
