BACKGROUND 

Susie Parker-Simmons is a Sports Dietitian and Physiologist who has a history of work in both the United States of America and Australia. Susie is currently the Head of Sports Nutrition for the Milwaukee Bucks.  From 2006-2010 and 2012-2020 Susie worked for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as a senior Sport Dietitian and in 2019 a High-Performance Director. From 2010-2012, she was the Sport Science Manager for the Victorian Institute of Sport, Australia. From 2001-2006, Susie was employed as the Sports Dietitian and Physiologist for the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA). From 2001-2006, Susie was employed as the Sports Dietitian and Physiologist for the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA). Prior to 2001 she worked in Australia lecturing at RMIT University and working in private practice.

EDUCATION 

Susie received a bachelor of applied science in physical education from the Phillip Institute of Technology, Australia.  Master of Education (Human Movement) from Boston University.  Graduate Diploma Health Education and Master of Human Nutrition and Dietetics (RD) from Deakin University, Australia.  Susie also received a Doctorate of Philosophy from RMIT University, Australia.   

EXPERTISE 

Since 2005 Susie has been the nutrition consultant for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Susie has worked at seven Olympic Games, including both summer and winter Games, and one Paralympic Game.
