  • Julia Grabher saved one match point in the third-set tiebreak to defeat Leyre Romero Gormaz 2-6, 6-3, 7-6(7) in the Auckland first round -- Grabher's first tour-level win since Cleveland 2023 and a subsequent six-month wrist injury hiatus.
  • Clara Tauson came from a set and 5-3 down, saving one match point in the second-set tiebreak, to defeat Sofia Kenin 4-6, 7-6(7), 7-6(3) in the Auckland second round.
  • Hailey Baptiste saved one match point trailing Jodie Burrage 5-3 in the third set of their second-round Auckland contest, eventually winning 5-7, 7-5, 7-6(6) to reach her first WTA quarterfinal.
  • Anhelina Kalinina saved one match point serving down 5-4 in the third set against Kimberly Birrell in the Brisbane quarterfinals, pulling through to win 4-6, 6-1, 7-5.

  • In front of her home crowd, Destanee Aiava came from 5-2 down in set 2 and 5-3 down in set 3, saving two match points down 5-4 in the decider, to edge Greet Minnen 5-7, 7-5, 7-6[5] in the Australian Open first round.
  • Madison Keys saved one match point as Iga Swiatek served at 6-5 in set three of their Australian Open semifinal. Keys won 5-7, 6-1, 7-6[8] to reach her second major final.
